Police seek public’s help in locating missing Chinese exchange student

Toronto Police Service is asking for the public’s help in locating a Chinese exchange student that has been missing for over two weeks.

Yumeng “Vivian” Zhang, 23, (章钰蒙) is a fourth year economics student at York University who was last seen on March 15.

Zhang is described as 5’2 tall with a thin build and long black hair. Zhang last used her credit card on March 15 at a Real Fruit Bubble Tea shop.

Zhang last contacted her parents on March 8. She is said to be have moved into a Toronto or Markham-area house last October or November.

According to a report by Loving Sister, Zhang’s cousin says Zhang is a innocent girl. This stay in Canada marks the longest amount of time she has spent away from China.
